To meet your needs for historic bed hangings and window treatments, Eaton Hill Textile Works specializes in the custom dyeing and weaving of linen, cotton and worsted fabrics. We work closely with you to color match the exact shade desired using high quality acid dyes or the natural dyes from the period. Twill tapes or custom woven trims are then dyed to match or complement the fabric. Also available as a finished product are blankets, throws, or carpeting. The blanketing patterns are taken from actual historic originals and the throws are woven in more contemporary designs using luxury fibers such as merino wool, alpaca and mohair.

Venetian carpeting has long been a favored weave at Eaton Hill and we custom design and dye each piece to perfectly enhance the room in which it will be enjoyed.  For inspiration on colors and patterning, we can refer to 18th c. draft books or other resources in our collection.
